How to make delicious Brownies with strawberries

Serving: 9 servings

Ingredients (for a 20x20cm Tramontina baking pan)

225 g of your preferred chocolate bar
225 g butter
135 g flour
15 g chocolate chips
225 g granulated sugar
4 large eggs
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 pinch of salt

Preparation 

  1. Preheat your oven to 180 ºC (350 ºF).
  2. Over low heat, start by melting the chocolate and butter together in a double boiler until it becomes a smooth, liquid mixture. Set aside and let it cool for a few minutes.
  3. Mix the flour, baking powder, salt and cocoa powder in a separate Tramontina bowl. In a second bowl, beat the eggs and sugar until the mixture triples in volume is light coloured. Pour the chocolate mixture into the eggs, mixing from the bottom upward with a spatula until forming a soft and dense cream. Next, add the dry ingredients, sifting them in two parts, always mixing from bottom upward. The brownie batter is quite dense. Next, pour the batter into a Tramontina baking pan previously lined with wax paper.
  4. Bake for 30 minutes. 
  5. After the indicated time, the famous crust will have formed. Open the oven and test with a toothpick. If the brownies are still raw and the crackly top has not formed, leave them in the oven for 5 more minutes.
  6. When you take them out of the oven, let them cool for 5 minutes. Then lift the brownies with the wax paper and let them cool completely on a rack before cutting.

    Serve with chocolate ganache:

    Preparation: 5 minutes
    Cooking: 3 minutes
    Serving: 420 g of ganache

    Ingredients

    200 g milk chocolate
    200 g heavy cream
    20 ml whole milk

    Preparation 

    1. Roughly chop the chocolate. 
    2. Pour the heavy cream and milk in a Tramontina bowl, stir and heat for 30 seconds in the microwave. 
    3. Add the chopped chocolate, stir and heat for another 30 seconds in the microwave. 
    4. Take it out and stir again, then put it back in the microwave for 30 more seconds and stir to blend completely. 
    5. If necessary, heat the ganache for 30 seconds to decorate more easily. 

    Garnish with strawberries and your brownies are ready.
