- Wash with soap and water.
- Wipe off excess water with a dry cloth and return the pan to the heat until all the moisture has been removed.
- There is no need to season. Your product comes ready to use from the factory.
- Store in a dry, well-ventilated place.
- Clean your utensil with soap and water and use a sponge to remove any food residue.
- In the event of encrusted residue, you can boil with water and a little detergent to help remove the residue .
- Dry the excess water well with a dry cloth and return the pan to the heat until all the moisture has been removed.
- If the product looks new, simply store it in a dry, well-ventilated place.
- If the product shows signs of wear or rust, season it according to the steps below:
- Wash with soap and water, using a soft sponge to remove any food residue or rust.
- Dry off any excess water with a dry cloth and return the product to the heat until all the moisture has been removed.
- Apply a thin layer of oil to the entire surface of the utensil (inside and out) using a paper towel and place in the oven at 250¼C (maximum oven temperature) for 1 hour upside down. It is important that there are no gaps in the oil application to avoid stains forming. Repeat this step as many times as necessary to get the pan looking like new. Usually two applications is enough to completely restore the iron.
- Cast iron utensils are subject to oxidation.
